1. RATES: Rates are per person per night sharing (except for Woodbury Manor under exclusive use)

2. EDUCATIONAL RATES: The Amakhala Game Reserve offers incredibly low educational rates. For more info email Sandra@amakhala.co.za

5. CONSERVATION AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT LEVY (per person per night):
- Valid from 1 September 2025 – R275 pppn | 3-11 yrs - R138 | 0-2 yrs – no charge
- Valid from 1 March 2026 – R425 pppn | 3-11 yrs – R213 | 0-2 yrs – no charge
- Valid from 1 March 2027 - TBC

6. SINGLE SUPPLEMENT:
- 50% for all lodges except Woodbury which is an Exclusive Use Lodge
- Single supplement over peak season is 100% for all lodges

7. ROOM SUPPLEMENT: An additional charge of R1,000 per night applies at Hlosi & Bukela for suite upgrades.

8. PEAK SEASON: Minimum 2-night stay and room rate for single occupancy (100% single supplement)

9. MINIMUM PERSON: Minimum 3 persons sharing in Luxury Family Safari Tent & Luxury Two Bedroom Suite at Hlosi

10. INCLUSIONS: Accommodation, meals, selected house beverages and 2 game drives per day

11. EXCLUSIONS: Premium branded beverages, transfers, telephone calls, laundry and any items of a personal nature

12. AIRPORT TRANSFERS: Available at additional cost.

13. EXCLUSIVE USE: Available at Woodbury Manor, Quartermain’s Camp & Induli Lodge. Contact our reservations team for more information.

14. CHILD POLICY:
- Children 0-2yrs (no charge) may share a room with parents at our child friendly lodges with no supplement charge for the use of a cot.
- Children 3-11yrs (50% of adult sharing rate) may share selected rooms with parents at our child friendly lodges
- Children staying in a room by themselves will be charged the full adult rates

- Bukela & Bush Lodge 12+ years welcome
- Induli Lodge 6+ years welcome (under 6 by arrangement only)
- HillsNek 9+ years welcome
- Safari Lodge 9+ years welcome
- Hlosi All ages welcome (Children’s Programme)
- Woodbury Lodge 6+ years welcome
- Leeuwenbosch All ages welcome
- Woodbury Tented Camp 6+ yrs welcome
- Quatermain’s Camp 12+ years welcome (all ages welcome for exclusive use)
- Woodbury Manor 6+ years welcome (all ages welcome for exclusive use)

16. GAME DRIVE POLICY:
- Children 6 yrs and over will automatically be included in game drive activities
- Children 5 yrs and under may join game drives only if permitted by the lodge’s policy. They are welcome on drives if the lodge is booked for exclusive use.
 - Hlosi Game Lodge offers a children’s programme, including a kids’ game drive.
- A private game vehicle can also be booked at Hlosi and Leeuwenbosch (subject to availability and additional cost).
- Bukela, Bush Lodge, HillsNek & Safari offer private vehicles on request, subject to availability at an additional cost

17. TRIPLE OCCUPANCY:
- A person 12yrs and older may share with 2 adults at selected lodges, the full sharing adult rate will apply for the third person.

18. GUIDE & DRIVER POLICY:
- A guide or driver staying in lodge rooms will be charged the per person sharing rate.

19. PAYMENT POLICY:
- In Full 30 Days prior to arrival, unless the supplier has an authorised 30-day account facility with the Amakhala Game Reserve.
- 20 December – 10 January: 20% deposit is required 14 days after the reservation is made to secure the booking.

STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY:
***Bukela, Bush Lodge, Hlosi, Safari Lodge, Induli Lodge, Woodbury Lodge, Leeuwenbosch, Woodbury tented Camp, Woodbury Manor & Quatermain’s Camp:
- 61-46 days prior to arrival: 10%
- 45-31 days prior to arrival: 50%
- 30-3 days prior to arrival: 75%
- 48 hours or less, including no show: 100% cancellation fee of total amount
***HillsNek:
- 100% cancellation fee for bookings cancelled 60 days or less prior to arrival

HLOSI AND BUKELA BOOKING POLICY: Valid From 1 October 2025:
- Bookings made more than 60 days prior to arrival will benefit from our contracted Static STO rates.
- Bookings made within 60 days of arrival will receive our dynamic BAR (Best Available Rate) less your STO discount. Rates are tailored to reflect last minute availability and demand.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS:
- We strive to accommodate a range of dietary preferences and restrictions; however, guests are kindly advised of the following:
- Kosher: Leeuwenbosch is kosher certified and able to provide kosher-compliant meals. Please notify us in advance so we can ensure all arrangements are in place for your stay.
- Halaal: While we are not halaal certified, select lodges are able to offer halaal-friendly meal options upon request. Please notify us in advance so we can confirm availability and make necessary arrangements.

- All rates are in South African Rands and includes VAT

- No Tourism Levies are charged at present

All guests are required to sign an indemnity form on arrival

- The Amakhala Game Reserve retains the right to admit any guest/s and furthermore retains the right to remove any guest whose behaviour impacts negatively on other guests and / or staff.
